Siniloan, Laguna – Contemporary deluxe hotel in Manila Armada Hotel recently chose to contribute its resources to environmental protection and rehabilitation of the Sierra Madre mountain range, specifically in Siniloan’s agro-forestry lands. This is in line with the company’s mission to create a positive impact in close communities.
Hotel staff members, together with local forest guards, students, and volunteers, planted about 100 Philippine indigenous trees in protected agro-forestry lands around the Laguna Quezon Land Grant (LQLG), a 6,765-hectare property spanning Siniloan, Laguna and Real, Quezon. The LQLG is one of the biggest contributors to the country’s National Greening Program and an exceptional model of reforestation and forest rehabilitation. It is currently managed by the University of the Philippines Los Baños (UPLB).
In addition to its tree planting activity, Armada Hotel Manila also selected Fostering Education & Environment for Development (FEED) as its beneficiary for the whole year, with guidance from the Board of Investments. FEED is a non-stock, non-profit, non-governmental organization that provides scholarship opportunities to higher-level educational pursuits in the field of Environmental Studies.
Armada Hotel, with 96 comfortable and spacious room accommodations in Manila, seeks to exceed expectations through unfailing quality in value in what they do, and they show this as outstanding service to their guests and their communities.
